Soesterberg base newspapersAt Soesterberg Air Base the Stars and Stripes provided the squadron with international news but they had need for their own newspaper. So the Soesterberg Interceptor was published. In the sixties the squadron had beside the Soesterberg Interceptor the On Guard and The Holland Herald 32nd too. The On Guard was an official Air Force magazine published monthly and for the personnel of the 86th Air Division USAFE. An aside in the late 70's, some of which were printed on recycled computer paper because the squadron didn't have enough money to get it printed commercially.
Throughout the Air Operations Squadron period at Ramstein Air Base the 32nd didn't have their own newspaper. They had to turn to the Stars and Stripes and the Kaiserslautern American.
