Redesignated as the 32nd Fighter Day Squadron on 9 May 1955 and activated on September, 8 1955. Redesignated as the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron on 8 July 1958. Redesignated as the 32nd Fighter Interceptor Squadron on 8 July 1959. Redesignated as the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron on 1 July 1969. Redesignated as the 32nd Fighter Squadron on 1 November 1991.
Redesignated as the 32nd Air Operations Squadron on 1 July 1994. Inactivated on 1 November 2005.
